A Frayed Web
By Jon
Ripslinger
Genre:
Thriller/Suspense
Walter Bohannon fears love
has blinded his mom. After his dad’s death, she reconnected with an old
sweetheart, but Adam Kingsley may not be the same person she dated in high
school. Even his teenage daughter doesn’t seem to know him very well.
REVIEW:
A Frayed Web is a twisty turny joyride. I kept wavering between it all being in
Walter’s head and there really being something wrong with Adam. There were a few points in the book I started
to get a little bit tired of Walter’s wavering and borderline wussy
nature. I realized this was the way the
author wanted him to be so I just went with it.
He is definitely a sexually repressed teenager that doesn’t know how to
really handle hormones and I really think that it true of most teenagers now a
days they don’t want to be uncool and say no but they also don’t really want to
handle the pressure that goes along with sex.
Over all I think this story works and is a good read.
