Books I'm Currently Reading



So I am currently reading a few different books.  I am reading so many at one time because I read in several different locations
  
  1. Love’s Conqueror by Renee Hand - This was a little slow starting but I am really finding myself enjoying this the longer I read. (Review copy ebook)

  1. Elijah Hael The Genetic Code by Steve Goodwin - Starting this one tonight.  Looking forward to this book after reading the first one. (Review copy paperback)

  1. Large is the Smallest We’ve Got by Jed Hamilton - I have read the first part and I must say I am intrigued! (Review copy ebook)

  1. Nano by Robin Cook - One of my all-time favorite authors so I am looking forward to how this will play out. (Purchased)

Review 1: Elijah Hael and The Last Judgement



Elijah Hael and The Last Judgement. Steve Goodwin. 2013. [December] Software Development Pty Ltd. Pages 325. [Source: Ebook purchased]

First sentence:  “What is your name?”  Elijah looked around, puzzled.

Premise/Plot:  Elijah Hael has died.  The journey has not ended in fact it has only begun.  We will follow him as he rewatches the highs and the lows of his life.  Then its time to see what the rest of the journey is for Elijah.

My thoughts:  I truly enjoyed reading this book!  I found that I had an incredibly hard time putting it down.  The pacing was good there were a few points where the pace felt a little off for me because it would get fast then slow down then speed back up, but overall it was a great read.  I felt that the authors take on what happens around us that we don’t see was quite interesting.  I have found myself talking about this book to people quite a bit.

Recommend:  Absolutely!  I already have been

So I have been wanting to start a blog for sometime.  I love to read anything and everything I can get my hands on.  Lately I have not been able to read nearly as much as I would like.  Between working and getting my daughter to discover her own reading bug I am falling behind.
